Roma Ristorante in Oakville hosted a team from Rémy Cointreau for an exclusive Louis XIII Cognac tasting and fine dining event on Oct. 24. Michael Loudon, State Manager, Rémy Cointreau, and National Brand Ambassador Julien Pardes educated guests about the iconic Cognac region and brand. Louis XIII is produced by Rémy Martin as a tribute to King Louis XIII of France, the reigning monarch when the Rémy Martin family settled in the Cognac region. Created in 1874, Louis XIII is the result of the life achievement of a generation of cellar masters and one of the world’s most prestigious Cognac brands. It is made from a blend of the finest eau-de-vie, using grapes grown in Grande Champagne from multiple distillations over many different years that have been aged from 40 to up to 100 years, encased in a unique crystal decanter.
